The following are the academic extension services offered to state entities:

  • Consulting and advisory

    These are specialized works carried out with the purpose of understanding and redefining existing problems, as well as finding and recommending the most appropriate solutions in scientific, technical, technological, political, economic, social, environmental, artistic and cultural matters.

    Audits

    These are services related to the technical, administrative and financial verification of compliance with the conditions or terms of the contracts or agreements agreed upon for the execution of projects.

    Concepts

    These are the various forms of participation that professors have, on behalf of the University, when, in their capacity as experts, they provide qualified opinions of a specific nature on scientific, technical, technological, political, economic, social, environmental, artistic or cultural topics or problems. These opinions may be presented in public hearings, expert opinions or testimonies.

  • Special projects and General Royalties System´s Science, Technology and Innovation projects

    The work team provides advice and training on methodological, financial and legal issues, in the formulation and structuring of projects to be evaluated and approved by the Collegiate Body of Administration and Decision (OCAD) of the Science, Technology and Innovation Fund (FCTeI) of the General Royalties System (SGR).

    This team offers integral support to teachers and research groups, supporting the following management activities:

    • Training in Adjusted General Methodology (AMM)
    • Advice and support in project formulation
    • Support in strategic alliances
    • Support in project presentation
    • Support in contracting opportunities (forums and workshops)
  • Training

    Activities corresponding to the offer of continuing and permanent education for public and private entities, in order to support institutional training plans.

  • Policies and Internships

    Its purpose is to promote the professional, social and community development of undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the University, through the application of their knowledge and learning in practice.

  • International Cooperation

    It comprises the set of academic, scientific, technical, cultural and sports cooperation activities carried out by the University as a public institution, within the framework of national strategies for international cooperation, official international programs for the promotion of cooperation in these fields, or commitments acquired by the country in bilateral or multilateral cooperation commissions or agreements, in which the University participates and which involve the principle of reciprocity.

    These activities contribute to the exchange and transfer of knowledge, capabilities, experiences and technologies between countries, for their mutual benefit. This cooperation should be manifested in the bilateral or multinational resolution of shared problems.
